Raymond Victor (Ray) Cattell, RCA, OSA, CSPWC

A prominent Canadian painter, graphic designer, muralist and commercial artist, Ray Cattell was born in Birmingham, England in 1921 and has lived in Toronto, Ontario since immigrating to Canada in 1954. He paints in acrylics, oils and watercolour and is known for his ethereal colourfield paintings.
Cattell has held senior executive positions with the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, the Ontario Society of Artists, the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour, and the Art Directors’ Club of Toronto.
