This painting hung for years in the executive reception on the top floor of an office tower on Bay Street. On every visit I admired it. I like the abstracted quality of the work achieved by the wide brush strokes and the use of a palette knife. The juxtaposition of the warm colours of the vegetation below and the dark sky above creates a mood of mystery.
