This painting still has its original artist's frame that is painted a soft gold.
I bought this painting from Jane when she was living and working in Toronto in the 90s. Jane moved to Australia, and then to Los Angeles where I was fortunate to spend time with her in her LA home. She was kept very busy working on commissioned site specific paintings for her designer clients in Los Angeles.
Jane now lives in San Miguel d'Allende, Mexico, where, again, I was able to visit her in her studio/home.
